Mahatma Gandhi famously said, “Be the change that you wish to see in the world.” Now printed on t-shirts and mugs around the globe, I elected to apply this deeply resonating truth into sharing some of my “anti-establishment” practices in the field of health and beauty.

Instead of lamenting on the state of the environment, politics, education, relationships integrity and on and on, I’m inspired to share my philosophy of Health and Beauty in the form of Clean, Healthy, Organic, Fresh, Effective, Non-toxic, Wholesome Health and Beauty products.

On the chase of everlasting youth and beauty, Women (and men too) have been ingesting and injuring, tucking and torturing, piling and positioning, LOTS of “beauty” products and practices that are straight-up damaging to our bodies and to our environment, not to mention the anxiety-provoking effect of pursuing the alluring “ideal beauty” images the media has been blasting us with, to no avail.

It’s simple: Whatever we put on our skin ends up in our bloodstream, and therefore in our vital organs, messing up with our natural design. Doing so day after day, year after year, the impact is profound, causing havoc in our natural functioning on all levels, and may result in the emergence of myriad of mysterious illnesses, sensitivities, and imbalances (from allergies, to insomnia, to skin cancer, to autoimmune diseases and more and more and more).

Our Body = Our Environment. Using harmful chemicals such as petroleum-based products and other toxic substances, not only damages our inner working but also contaminates our environment, to the point of deteriorating the natural resources we depend on. This is a reality, not a theoretical speculation. It’s happening all around us, and of course, within us, in case you are late to this party.

Self-Care = Beauty. Using organic and wholesome products that deeply hydrate and rejuvenate our skin is invaluable in restoring our natural healthy glow. However, it’s not enough. In order to truly shine in our full glory, we need to practice self-care in every aspect of our life, as our core attitude to living. We need to change our approach to beauty and understand what “beauty begins within” means to us.

The basics: adequate (deeply restoring) sleep, moderate (and enjoyable) movement (+ self-massage), conscious eating habits, healthy emotional climate (communication tools), mental clarity (meditation practices), and anything that connects us with our sense of fulfillment and inner harmony, is a good start!

Utilizing ancient wisdom and life-nourishing practices, I’ve been passionate about cultivating my own well-being and that of my community. I’d be honored and delighted to support you in designing your own transformation into health as well.

PS. And if you are curious about clean and non-toxic makeup, I LOVE Beauty Counter.
As far as natural makeup is concerned, I find their line strikes a balance between high performing makeup and keeping it as natural as possible. I did quite a bit of research about this company, and although they are not ultra organic, they are committed to high standards of health and natural beauty. And, they have a special 15% off site-wide now for the Black Friday period! Their makeup is AMAZING, and their lipsticks are the best I ever used; long-lasting, high pigment, easy to apply, and non-toxic.
